Rita Bragg Cullum

A Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate and a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Rita Cullum brings a wealth of experience to the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Rita works with her clients and their financial advisors in developing and implementing estate plans that address the individual needs of the clients and their family and business interests. She also works extensively in the area of planned giving, helping clients in the preparation of charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities and other gift agreements. Using a sensitive, sensible approach, Rita assists clients with:

Rita’s passion for her profession is demonstrated by her professional involvement. Rita has taught estate planning at the Shepherd Center and regularly conducts tax and estate planning seminars for Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She leads retirement seminars for public and private entities and has authored numerous publications on planned giving. In recognition of her efforts, Rita was presented with the Compleat Lawyer Award from the University of South Carolina’s Law School Alumni Association as well as YWCA’s Tribute to Women in Industry Diamond Honoree Award.
