Shelley Montague is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group.  Her practice includes the following areas:

• Insurance litigation, including coverage disputes for both personal and commercial policies
• Bad faith actions
• Motor vehicle liability
• Product liability
• Premises liability
• Commercial litigation
  
• Construction litigation

She has been involved in personal injury, commercial, and construction litigation cases throughout the state and has significant courtroom experience at both the state and federal level. Construction law is a particular focus, and Shelley’s experience includes:

• Representation of general contractors, developers, subcontractors and suppliers in construction defect and claims litigation.
• Assisting clients with complex matters of product liability, the Uniform Commercial Code, and construction defect law on multi-million dollar claims associated with multi-residential housing, high-rise condominiums and commercial office buildings. 
• Participation in mediating complex residential and commercial construction law cases involving multiple parties.

Shelley is active in the Washington & Lee Alumni Association, Richland County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, and DRI.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Carolina Children's Home.
