W. Cliff Moore, III

Cliff Moore is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group and concentrates his practice on real estate, finance, and corporate fiduciary matters with special emphasis in the mortgage banking area. Clients include financial institutions, title companies and real estate developers, along with individuals involved in disputes concerning real property and finance. Drawing upon more than 25 years experience in real estate and finance law, Cliff helps clients resolve matters related to:

Title insurance claims
Foreclosures on diverse properties, including shopping malls, hotels, time-share projects, golf courses, office buildings, and other commercial and residential properties.
Contested trust and estate administration
Mortgage banking

An active member of the South Carolina Bar, Cliff served on the Bar’s Nominating Committee, and as a member of the House of Delegates from 1994 to 2008. He is a past chair of the Bar’s Pro Bono Committee and the Access to Justice Committee. Cliff is committed to insuring all have access to the legal system. To that end, he served on the Bar’s Access to Justice Committee for more than two decades. The South Carolina Bar has recognized his service on two occasions with Pro Bono Service Awards. In 2010, he was recognized by the University of South Carolina School of Law as a Compleat Lawyer.

Cliff also invests time in the community. As part of his volunteer work with Homeworks of America, Inc., he leads youth groups on home repair missions that assist those with lower income and the elderly. Cliff also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Homeworks of America, Inc. For more than 25 years, he has been involved in youth activities through the Columbia Kiwanis Club.
