Louis T. “Tom” Runge, Jr., is a member of the Business, Real Estate and Finance Practice Group. His practice is focused on real estate development, including residential subdivisions and commercial retail facilities. Tom brings a unique perspective to his real estate law practice. Prior to earning his Juris Doctor, Tom earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration, and worked for five years as a bank officer involved with commercial lending and credit review.
Tom’s experience includes:
- Representation of local and national homebuilders in the development of residential subdivisions throughout South Carolina.
- Representation of real estate developers regarding various commercial and retail projects throughout the state.
- Acting as lender’s and borrower’s counsel in many real estate projects throughout South Carolina, including strip center and retail development, condominium development and conversions, standalone retail projects and land acquisitions.
