Ellis Lawhorne Welcomes MacLeod as New Associate Attorney
Ellis, Lawhorne & Sims, P.A., announces Jennifer Ross MacLeod has joined the Firm as an associate attorney in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group and will focus her practice in estate planning.
MacLeod earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, cum laude, in 2002. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005, and an LL.M. in Taxation with a Certificate in Estate Planning, with distinction, in 2008 from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to attending Georgetown University Law Center, she was employed as a Staff Attorney with the South Carolina Supreme Court and as a Law Clerk for the South Carolina General Assembly’s Senate Judiciary Committee. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar.
