Ellis Lawhorne Expands Tax Team with Will Umbach as Associate Attorney
Will Umbach has joined Ellis, Lawhorne & Sims P.A. as an associate
attorney in the Business, Real Estate and Finance Practice Group. He brings advanced training in taxation to the team
and will focus his practice on helping clients conduct business in a
tax-efficient manner.
Mr. Umbach earned his
Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude,
from the University of South Carolina. While in law school, he was a member of
the Order of the Wig and Robe and the John Belton O’Neall American Inn of
Court. Mr. Umbach served as the Editor in Chief of the second largest law
review in the country, the Real Property,
Trust & Estate Law Journal published by the American Bar Association.
He continued his studies at New York University School of Law, where he earned
an LL.M. in Taxation.
