Jonathan P. Lee Named Ellis Lawhorne Shareholder
Ellis Lawhorne is pleased to announce that attorney Jonathan P. “JP” Lee has been named a shareholder in the Firm. Lee is a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group.
Lee joined Ellis Lawhorne in 2003 as a law clerk. He focuses his practice on estate and trust administration and provides counsel to clients in the areas of estate and trust litigation, post-mortem tax planning, wills and trusts, distributions from qualified plans and wealth transfer planning.
He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina, and his LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. Lee is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Supreme Court of South Carolina.
